Thursday, July 29

2010 Rice Street Festival Parade (6:30pm)

The Parade will begin at Atwater going North to Ivy St.

Rice Street Mile (6pm , 6:30pm)

Join us for the parade kickoff with this exciting race! The women's race starts at 6:00 and the men's race starts at 6:30. The starting line is at the corner of Front and Rice St. then it goes north 1 mile to Arlington. This race is USATF Certified course and a MDRA Grand Prix event. The entry fee is $12 if mailed in by July 15th or $15 the day of the race. Movie in the Park (6pm @ Rice Rec Center)

This year the movie will be "Hotel for Dogs," movie will begin at dusk. Other great activities before the movie include an open house showing the new recording studio in the recreation center, music, jump castle, wall climb, concessions will be sold during the movie. Music provided by J.M.W. Production, Hosted by St.Paul Parks and Rec, Sponsored by Comcast. Location: 1041 Marion St., St.Paul, MN 55117

9th Annual Talent Show/Treasure Hunt (12pm-5pm)

Come support you local talent and CHEER! them on. Great entertainment for the whole family. Prizes to be awarded for each category! located (TBD)

3rd Annual Car Show (12pm-5pm)

Hosted by Dar's Double Scoop and Mike's Complete Auto Care, located at Capital Bank (1020 Rice St.)

2010 Rice Street Festival Softball Tournament

Men's, Women's, and Co-Rec 11"/12" ASA slow pitch. July 30-31 at Rice/Arlington and surrounding fields in St. Paul. Entry fee:$135.00- softballs provided, entries accepted until noon July 22 or when brackets are full. Guaranteed 3 games. For more information call 651-558-2255
